Bill DeSonier joined Disability Justice in 2019. In addition to conducting abuse and neglect investigations, he leads the SSA’s Representative Payee program.
Bill is a U.S. Navy Operations Specialist veteran. He earned degrees in criminal justice and psychology from Columbia College.
Bill worked for the State of Colorado as a probation officer in the District Court Intensive Supervision Program and for the State of Texas in its Child Protective Services and Office of Inspector General departments. He also worked with the Arapahoe County Attorney’s Office as an Investigator in welfare fraud and Department of Human Services Internal Affairs.
